Who are God’s children?

“This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not God's child, nor is anyone who does not love their brother and sister.” (1 John 3:10 NIV)

Led by the Spirit of God

“For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!” (Rom. 8:14-15 ESV)

Good seed or weeds

“The field is the world, and the good seed represents the sons of the kingdom. The weeds are the sons of the evil one…” (Matt. 13:38)

Therefore…

“But to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God…” (John 1:12)
