When you must remember

IMG_1995.jpeg

“Remember the former things of old; for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me.” (Isa. 46:9 ESV)

Take care to remember

“Then take care lest you forget the Lord, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.” (Deut. 6:12 ESV)

Therefore…

“Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.” (Heb. 2:1 KJV)

“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.” (John 14:26 ESV)

Quote:

“Next time God teaches you something during a sermon or a devotional time, write it down. Give it “earnest heed” so that it doesn’t slip away.” – Rick Warren
