When you feel shaken
“I have set the Lord always before me; because he is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken. Therefore my heart is glad, and my whole being rejoices; my flesh also dwells secure. For you will not abandon my soul to Sheol, or let your holy one see corruption. You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” (Psalm 16:8-21 ESV)
What to do when you feel shaken
Seek the Lord - “I sought the Lord, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears.” (Psalm 34:4 ESV)
Pray with thanksgiving - Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.” (Phil. 4:6-7 ESV)
Humble yourself - Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.” (1 Peter 5:6-7 ESV)
Move forward - I can do all things through him who strengthens me.” (Phil. 4:13 ESV)
Trust God -“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” (Prov. 3:5-6 ESV)
Therefore…
“Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act.” (Psalm 37:5 ES)
“And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.” (Rom. 8:28 ESV)
