When Jesus shed His blood

“And from Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of kings on earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood.” (Rev. 1:5 ESV)

 Jesus’ blood was poured out for the forgiveness of sins

 “So Jesus also suffered outside the gate in order to sanctify the people through his own blood.” (Heb. 13:12 ESV)

 “For this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.” (Matt. 26:28 ESV)

 We are justified by His blood

The blood of Christ purifies our conscious from dead works to serve the living God

“How much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, purify our conscience from dead works to serve the living God.” (Heb. 9:14 ESV)
