Take a lesson from the birds of the air

“Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they?” (Matt. 6:26 NASB)

Expect God to take care of you, too

God wants you to look at the birds of the air and notice something important about them. They are constantly being fed and taken care of by Him, and you are more important to Him than the birds! Which means, God will supply to you what you need, just as he faithfully does for His birds! Expect God to do what he says He will do, and He will! That is how faith works!

“And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”  (Phil. 4:19 ESV)

Therefore

“So we can confidently say, “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?” (Heb. 13:6 ESV)

“Not that we are sufficient in ourselves to claim anything as coming from us, but our sufficiency is from God,” (2 Cor. 3:5 ESV)

“I can do all things through him who strengthens me.” (Phil. 4:13 ESV)
