God is a giver — He gives forgiveness

“For this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.” (Matt. 26:28 ESV)

Forgiveness is God’s generous gift through the blood of Jesus. It is not earned—it is given.

Forgiven when we confess:

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9 NIV)

Forgiven according to the riches of His grace:

“In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace.” (Eph. 1:7 ESV)

Forgiven and completely cleansed:

“As far as the east is from the west, so far does he remove our transgressions from us… as a father shows compassion to his children, so the Lord shows compassion to those who fear him.” (Psalm 103:12–13 ESV)

Forgiven and made white as wool:

“Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow… they shall become like wool.” (sa. 1:18 ESV)

Therefore

Receive His forgiveness fully—and walk in the freedom and purity He gives.
