No satisfaction in the love of money
IMG_5563.JPG

“Whoever loves money never has enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with their income. This too is meaningless.” (Eccles. 5:10 NIV)

We do need money to pay bills and to purchase things we need, but, money is only a tool to use and should never be a thing to covet after or love. The Bible warns that the “love of money is the root of all evil.” Notice it doesn’t say that money is the root of all evil, but it is the love of it that is the root of all evil. In fact, loving money can be very dangerous. It could lead you to err from your faith and into many serious problems and sorrows.

Don’t Love or covet money

But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, although the Law and the Prophets bear witness to it— the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction: for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.” (Rom. :20-24 ESV)
