“Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice.” (Phil. 4:4 ESV)

Rejoice - to be animated with gladness; to experience joy and gladness in a high degree; to be delighted; to be exhilarated with lively and pleasurable sensations; To exult.

We have much to rejoice about!

“You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” (Psalm 16:11 ESV)

“The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.” (Zeph. 3:17 ESV)

 Fullness of joy in Jesus

“These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.” (John 15:11 ESV)

“Though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory, obtaining the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls.” (1 Peter 1:8-9 ESV)

Therefore

“Therefore my heart is glad, and my whole being rejoices; my flesh also dwells secure.” (Psalm 16:9 ESV)

“This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” (Psalm 118:24 ESV)

“I will greatly rejoice in the Lord; my soul shall exult in my God, for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation; he has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself like a priest with a beautiful headdress, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.” (Isa. 61:10 ESV)

“Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.” (Rom. 12:12 ESV)
