When Things Look Impossible

“With God everything is possible”  (Matt. 19:26 NLT)

From a human perspective, some situations seem beyond hope. A broken relationship, a frightening diagnosis, financial hardship, or a closed door can make us believe there’s no way forward. But God is not limited by human ability or earthly circumstances. Throughout Scripture, He repeatedly accomplished what people thought could never happen. Our responsibility is not to figure out how He will do it, but to trust that He can. When we place the impossible in God’s hands, we leave room for Him to display His power and faithfulness.

Nothing is too hard for God

“‘Ah, Lord God! It is you who have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm! Nothing is too hard for you.’” (Jer. 32:17 ESV)

Therefore 

“And Jesus said to him, “‘If you can’! All things are possible for one who believes.” (Mark 9:23 ESV) 

“I can do all things through him who strengthens me.” (Phil. 4:13 ESV) 

“Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us.” Eph. 3:20 ESV)
