God is your Father

“For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship.  And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.” (Rom. 8:15-16

Jesus taught us to pray to God as “Our Father.”

“Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name.” (Matt. 6:9 NIV)

As your father, He gives you good gifts when you ask him

“Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!”  (Matt. 7:9-11)

As your Father, He is pleased to give you the kingdom

 “Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom”.  (Luke 12:32)

And as your Father, He loves you

“No, the Father himself loves you because you have loved me and have believed that I came from God. (John 16:27)

And as your Father, He lavishes His love on you

“How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!”  (1 John 3:1)

And as your Father, He is merciful to you and wants you to be merciful, too

“But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked.  Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.” (Luke 6:35-36)

Do not worry, the Holy Spirit will teach you

God will be with your mouth

“Now then go, and I, even I, will be with your mouth, and teach you what you are to say." (Ex. 4:12 NASB)

For now and forever

"As for Me, this is My covenant with them," says the LORD: "My Spirit which is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your offspring, nor from the mouth of your offspring's offspring," says the LORD, "from now and forever." Accepted as a soothing aroma

“As a soothing aroma I will accept you when I bring you out from the peoples and gather you from the lands where you are scattered; and I will prove Myself holy among you in the sight of the nations.” (Eze. 20:41 NASB)

Fragrance like the cedars of Lebanon  

“I will be like the dew to Israel; He will blossom like the lily, And he will take root like the cedars of Lebanon. His shoots will sprout, And his beauty will be like the olive tree And his fragrance like the cedars of Lebanon.” (Hosea 14:5:6 NASB)

Walk in love as a fragrant aroma

“And walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma.” (Eph. 5:2 NASB)

God uses us to spread the aroma of the knowledge of Him

“But thanks be to God, who always leads us as captives in Christ's triumphal procession and uses us to spread the aroma of the knowledge of him everywhere.” (2 Cor. 2:14 NIV)

The Holy Spirit gives you the power to witness

Refresh

To give new strength or energy to revitalize, revive, restore, fortify, enliven, perk up, stimulate, freshen, energize, exhilarate, reanimate, re-energize, wake up, revivify, inspirit.

Refreshed in Christ

“I do wish, brother, that I may have some benefit from you in the Lord; refresh my heart in Christ.” (Philemon 1:20 NIV)

“I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint." (Jer. 31:25 NIV)

Refreshes the soul

“Like the cold of snow in the time of harvest Is a faithful messenger to those who send him, For he refreshes the soul of his masters.” (Prov. 25:13 NASB)

A refreshed spirit

“For they refreshed my spirit and yours also. Such men deserve recognition.” (1 Cor. 16:18 NIV)

It comes back to you

“A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed. (Prov. 11:25 NIV)

The victory comes through Jesus

Persevere and you will be blessed!

“Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.”  (James 1:12 NIV)
