“And his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms.” (Eph. 1:19–20 NIV)
Years ago, a young man bought a used sports car that looked fast but constantly sputtered and stalled. After weeks of frustration, a mechanic discovered that several spark plug wires were loose and not making proper contact. Once the connections were securely seated, the engine roared to life with all its intended power.
Many Christians live this way today. The power of the Holy Spirit is within them, yet they act lukewarm (Rev. 3:15-16) and behave as though they are not connected, because they are not growing closer to God through daily prayer and Bible study.
The Christian life was never meant to be weak or defeated. It began with resurrection power—and that same power is still available to every believer today.
The Gospel Came with Power
“For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance.” (1 Thess. 1:5)
Power Over the Enemy
“Behold, I give unto you power… over all the power of the enemy.” (Luke 10:19)
God’s power enables you to resist temptation, defeat fear, and overcome anything that tries to hold you down.
Power to Witness
“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you.” (Acts 1:8)
This divine power gives you boldness and clarity to share your faith effectively wherever you go.
Power to Endure
“He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.” (Isaiah 40:29)
Even when you feel drained, God’s power replenishes and renews you from the inside out.
That Power Works in You!
“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.” (Ephe. 3:20)
The same resurrection power that raised Jesus from the dead is alive and active in you today!
Therefore
Stay connected to God through prayer, faith, reading the Bible, and obedience. His power is not distant—it’s incomparably great and working mightily in you right now!
“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.” (Eph. 6:10)
