Speak God’s Word Faithfully

“Let the prophet who has a dream recount the dream, but let the one who has my word speak it faithfully. For what has straw to do with grain?” declares the Lord. “Is not my word like fire,” declares the Lord, “and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces?” (Jeremiah 23:28–29)

God draws a sharp contrast between human words and His Word

Straw may look impressive in a pile, but only grain gives life. God’s Word is not decoration, opinion, or filler—it is fire that purifies and a hammer that breaks what is hard. When we speak His Word, we are not sharing suggestions; we are releasing divine power.

God’s Word is alive and powerful

“For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.” (Hebrews 4:12)

God’s Word doesn’t just inform—it transforms. It cuts through confusion, exposes truth, and reaches places nothing else can reach.

God’s Word is for your instruction and hope

“For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.” (Romans 15:4)

Scripture is not just history—it is training, encouragement, and hope for today.

Therefore

Don’t dilute God’s Word with opinions or replace it with straw. Speak it faithfully. Trust it fully. Use it boldly. God’s Word will do exactly what He sends it to do.

“Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.” (Matthew 24:35)
